Information involved

• Device and store activity: IP address, browser or device details, session identifiers, pages visited and checkout activity collected through the storefront and its technologies.
• Preferences: consent choices, marketing preferences and account information where those features are used.

Information comes from you, your interactions with the website, and providers involved in transactions, delivery and store operation.

Why information is used

We use relevant information to take payment, fulfil orders, deliver ebooks, provide support, handle returns, keep transaction records and protect the store against fraud. Store activity may also support service improvements and, where enabled and lawfully permitted, analytics or marketing.

Where a legal basis is required, processing relies on fulfilling a contract, complying with legal obligations, consent where necessary, or legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and customer support, subject to your rights. Declining optional marketing does not prevent a purchase.

Shopify

Shopify hosts our commerce platform and processes information needed to operate it. Shopify may also act independently for purposes described in its own Consumer Privacy Policy. Requests concerning Shopify's independent processing can be made through its privacy portal.

Stripe and payments

Stripe processes payment information and related transaction data to facilitate payments, authentication, fraud prevention, refunds and disputes. Card information entered into payment fields is handled by the payment service. Veyrane receives the transaction information needed to manage your order. Do not email us full card details or security codes.

Other recipients

Relevant information is shared with fulfilment partners, carriers, communication and digital-delivery services as necessary for the service you request. Analytics or advertising providers may receive device and activity information where such tools are enabled and applicable permissions allow it. Information may also be disclosed to comply with legal duties, resolve disputes or protect rights.

Cookies and choices

The storefront uses cookies and similar technologies for functions such as the cart, checkout, security and preferences. Optional analytics and advertising technologies may be used where enabled. Where consent is required, those optional uses require your consent; reading this policy is not consent.

Use any privacy or cookie controls presented by the store to manage available choices. You can also manage cookies in your browser, although blocking essential cookies may affect checkout. Contact us for help or to exercise applicable opt-out rights. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using their unsubscribe link.

International processing and retention
